These positions have included C.E.O., Managing Director, General Manager to Group and National Retail Manager. He has extensive executive management experience and has lived and worked in China, the USA, Australia and PNG. He has founded 4 retail chains/businesses and constructed in excess of 100 retail stores. |  | Adam Westbury - Operations Support Manager Adam joined the business in April 2003, to help Annette and Terry expand their business to the size it is today. As the eldest child of Annette Walters, with many years in management roles with an RSL club in NSW and as the Captain of a NSW fire brigade for many years, Adam comes with valuable experience. From his start in 2003, when there was only 1 store, he has helped the business grow to an impressive 9 stores today. He oversees the operations/IT of all the stores, as well as organising the building/and refurbishments of all stores. Adam is joined by his wife Maree who also works in the Walters Group, and they have now also relocated to Townsville from Cairns. |  | Andrew McIntosh - Group Retail ManagerAndrew has 16 years retail experience with various retail companies, he joined Walters IGA in July 2007 and has managed the Sunland and Rasmussen stores before taking the role of Grocery Specialist. Andrew now is the group retail manager. |  | Damien Mines - Human Resources ManagerDamien has a broad human resources career base spanning 17 years in human resources and operational roles in retail, hospitality, tourism, insurance, training and education. His business and human resources experience within large, high-profile and medium-sized businesses, has developed him into a versatile professional with an appreciation for commercial reality. Damien’s qualifications include a Masters in Business, a Graduate Certificate in Human Resources and a Certificate IV in Assessment and Workplace Training. |  | John McDonald - Buying Manager
John has had over 30 years experience in the supermarket industry, and is a valued member of the Walter's team. John’s vast experience includes: Managing Foodmasters supermarket, Regional Manager for Shoey's/Bilo, Retail Consultant for QIW, Project Manager for the Mossman supermarket opening, Business Manager for IGA Distribution before becoming the Walters IGA's Operational Manager in 2003. John has now moved into the position of Walter's Supa IGA Group Buyer/Promotions Manager. |  | Luke Hislop - IT SpecialistLuke moved up from the Sunshine Coast to join the group in February 2004. Luke started as a Grocery Manager, and has worked in the Rasmussen, Mundingburra and Bamford Lane (Which he helped set up and open) stores. He then progressed to Store Manager at the Mundingburra store, and was also briefly Manager at the Garbutt store before moving onto IT Support. |  | Andrew Holloway - Meat Specialist (Acting)

Peter joined the team in May 2009 with a background of policing, training and workplace health & safety. He and his wife operated a franchised food retail store for some 4 years, winning four national awards during that time.
