Adam Westbury - Operations Manager

Adam joined the business in April 2003, to help Annette and Terry expand their business to the size it is today. As the eldest child of Annette Walters, with many years in management roles with an RSL club in NSW and as the Captain of a NSW fire brigade for many years, Adam comes with valuable experience. From his start in 2003, when there was only 1 store, he has helped the business grow to an impressive 9 stores today. He oversees the operations/IT of all the stores, as well as organising the building/and refurbishments of all stores. Adam is joined by his wife Maree, who works in Admin at present, but who are shortly relocating to Townsville from Cairns.

Luke Hislop - IT Specialist

Luke joined the group on the 16th February 2004, which happened to also be his 27th birthday. Luke started as a Grocery Manager, and has worked in the Rasmussen, Bamford Lane and Mundingburra stores. He then progressed to Store Manager at Mundingburra store, and was also briefly Manager at Garbutt store. Luke is currently the IT, Training and relief Manager for the Walter's Group.

John McDonald - Group Buyer Specialist

John has had over 30 years experience in the supermarket industry, and is a valued member of the Walter's team. John’s vast experience includes: Managing Foodmasters supermarket, Regional Manager for Shoey's/Bilo, Retail Consultant for QIW, Project Manager for the Mossman supermarket opening, Business Manager for IGA Distribution before becoming the Walters IGA's Operational Manager in 2003. John has now moved into the position of Walter's Supa IGA Group Buyer/Promotions Manager.

Col Rowbotham - Meat Supervisor

Col is the Walter's Group Meat Specialist. He joined us in September 2006.

Andrew McIntosh - Grocery/Retail Specialist

Steve Eustace - Payroll Officer

Peter Ryan - WHSO Supervisor

Peter is based in Townsville, and is the Walter's Audit, and OHS Supervisor.
